Victor N. Aldridge, Sr.

Ware County residents elected Victor Aldridge, Sr. to serve as District Four Commissioner, effective January 1, 2009. Mr. Aldridge is a twenty-six year resident of Ware County and is married to the former Mary Alice Herndon. He and his wife have three children: Victor N., Jr. (Nick) and his wife, former Tess Tanner, Jarred and his fiancée, Roxanne White, and Maisie.
Mr. Aldridge has devoted his life to row-crop farming in many areas of Ware County with farm headquarters located in Waresboro. He and his sons enjoyed growing cotton and peanuts in 2008. In the year 2000, he received the McGregor-Mayo Agricultural Award and has served as both Vice President and President of the Ware County Chapter of the Georgia Young Farmer Association. Additionally, Mr. Aldridge has served on the Ware County Farm Bureau Board of Directors for more than ten years and is currently serving as Vice President for a second term. Further supplementing his distinguished record of service in this county, Victor has served as a council member on the Seven Rivers Resource Conservation and Development Area Board and as the Ware County elected supervisor on the Satilla River Soil & Water Conservation district board.
Victor Aldridge and his family are active members at Sweat Memorial Baptist Church, where he serves as a deacon and Sunday school teacher of the College & Career Age Class.
