Pam Gibson

Pam Gibson began her career with Ware County in August 1975. Appointed to County Clerk in January 2002, Mrs. Gibson had served as Payroll Clerk, Accounting Clerk and Purchasing Agent during her first decades as a County employee. Her current certifications include Certified Finance Officer and Certified County Clerk. Mrs. Gibson has served as President of the Georgia County Clerk’s Association.

As Secretary to the Board of Commissioners, she schedules and maintains training files to ensure that Commissioners have completed State-required training courses for certification. Mrs. Gibson is the official custodian of records for all actions taken by the Board of Commissioners and is exclusively responsible for preparing and publishing agendas, minutes and the informational notebooks for the board meetings, distributing the board actions to the constitutional officers and department heads, and the maintenance of those records. She is also the official custodian of County contracts, leases, resolutions and ordinances.

Mrs. Gibson and her husband, Madison have two sons, Jonathan (daughter-in-law Jessica, grandson Cole, and granddaughters Conley and Cailyn) and Travis. The Gibson’s are members at Jamestown Baptist Church.
