TDD Services (Speech & Hearing Impaired)
In accordance with the requirements of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act, The Ware County 9-1-1 service is equipped with telecommunication devices to communicate with hearing impaired or speech impaired individuals. These individuals will have direct access to Ware County emergency services provided through 9-1-1.
Field trips are available to our school systems and community civic groups. Field trips include a tour of the 9-1-1 Center and it allows you to see what takes place during day-to-day operations. Contacting the 9-1-1 center during business hours would allow us to schedule trips for your group. In accordance with the Georgia Crime Information Center security requirements, all visitors are subject to a criminal history check.
Language Line (for Non- or Limited-English Speaking Citizens)
Ware County 9-1-1 now provides the Language Line Service. This service is available twenty-four hours a day and supports 150 languages. For information on Language Line Services for your business, go to www.languageline.com.
