This position is responsible for providing emergency and non-emergency treatment and transportation for Ware County and provides treatment and transportation to patients needing a higher level of care not provided at M.C.H.S. Waycross.

Must be 21 years or older and must be certified in above category. Must possess a high school diploma or GED. Candidates must have no criminal background and have an excellent Motor Vehicle Report.

Ware County Board of Commissioners seeking applicants for full and part time Licensed Practical Nurses who are interested in working in the medical section at the Ware County Jail Facility located in Industrial Park. Responsibilities include: performance of basic nursing duties including administration of physician orders, sick call, assisting physician in examination and treatment, and performing technical/clinical procedures within the scope of his/her duties. Shift assignments will vary between day, evening, and some night work hours for full time position.

Applicant must be able to accept on call status as needed. Successful candidate must complete medical exam, drug testing and background check.
