Ga. DOT Requires Public Notice of Policy to Comply With Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1965

Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, 1964

As a recipient of federal financial assistance under the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), Ware County hereby gives public notice that it is our policy to assure compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1965, the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987, and related statutes and regulations in all programs and activities.

Any person who believes they have been subject to unlawful discriminatory practices under Title VI has the right to file a formal complaint.

If you believe that you have been excluded from participation in, been denied the benefits of, or been subjected to discrimination under any Ware County Transit service, program or activity, you may file an official Title VI complaint with Ware County. We encourage you to make your complaint in writing. Ware County Complaint Procedures and Complaint Form can be obtained by calling 912-287-4300.
