Ware County Recreation Department offers an after-school program to youth in our community. The "Leaders of Tomorrow After-School Program" is designed for second through eighth grade students. Registration begins during the first week in August. Top of Page |
Senior Computer Class |
Beginning class is geared for senior with an interest in computers. Classes consist of an introduction to computers, keyboarding, Microsoft Word word processing program and e-mailing. Registration begins in early September. Top of Page |
Fall Festival |
Fall Festival occurs during the middle of October, usually from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Top of Page |
Special Olympics |
Ware Special Olympics and Special Georgia's goal is to provide year-around athletic competition for children and adult with intellectual disabilities. Ware Special Olympics takes place in the middle of March. Visit the Georgia Special Olympics website for more information on the State's program. Top of Page |
Spring Break Camp |
Youth who enjoy active play, arts & craft and enrichment activity, this camp is for you. Registration begins in the middle of March. Spring Break Camp begins in the middle of April. Top of Page |
Summer Day Camp |
Youth receive safe, responsible and caring staff and low participant-to-staff ratio. There are many fun and enriching activities, age-appropriate programming, field trips and healthy, balanced lunches. Registration begins in late April with Summer Day Camp beginning by the end of May. Top of Page |
