Sponsorships
Sponsorships
are necessary for any program to be successful. We have sponsors for
Basketball, Baseball, Softball, and Football. The sponsorship includes: company
name on back of jersey, plaque for business, and business name in newspaper
when league standings are reported. With sponsorships of business, civic clubs,
and individuals, the Ware County Recreation Department is able to provide the
children of Ware County with a better overall program. There are many ways
available to sponsor teams and programs at the Ware County Recreation
Department. For more information on how you can sponsor a team, please call
287-4488.
Referees,
Umpires, and Scorekeepers
If
you are interested in becoming an official for any of the Recreation Department
programs, please call 287-4488. The Ware County Recreation Department needs
official to make our programs successful. We also need scorekeepers for
baseball, softball, and basketball. There is available training from the Ware
County Recreation staff as well as certified umpires and officials that are
contracted through our program. Clinics are available and all positions are
paid. If you are interested, please call 287-4488.
Volunteer
Coaches
The
Ware County Recreation sports programs are coached by volunteers. Without
volunteers we would not have a successful program. If you are interested in
being a Head Coach or an Assistant Coach for any of our sports, please call
287-4488. Coach’s certification clinics are available for all sports.
